Nursery Rhyme Books for Babies

Remember reading Mother Goose’s stories as a child, hearing about silly adventures in rhyming verses. When your little reader begins his/her learning journey, these timeless classics are perfect. As you read a story about Peter Rabbit or a nursery rhyme called Ba, Ba Black Sheep, you and your little one will not want to wait until the next time you can read together.

Nursery rhyme books for Babies used to be plentiful in bookstores and libraries. I have a lovely collection of infant and toddler nursery rhyme books that I’ve read to my three small children throughout the years. I’m not sure, but I’m thinking it’s a supply and demand situation. With so many literary and entertainment options available nowadays, it’s likely that parents’ interest in and understanding of nursery rhymes has waned. I’m not sure, but I believe nursery rhymes and poetry play an important role in our children’s learning to read.

To help parents I’ve collected a list of nursery rhyme books for babies so that parents can make their little ones’ childhood better.
